Back in late July/early August of 2013, the creators of CW’s Arrow announced that they were developing on a spin-off dedicated to the DC Comics superhero, The Flash, the story of Barry Allen, the fastest man alive, which inspired me to launch my first DC podcast: The Flash Podcast, the internet’s 1st Flash TV Podcast. It was launched in November 2013 with a Season Zero, which served as a prequel year for the podcast as we waited for the show to premiere in October 2014. The podcast has produced over a hundred episodes as we cover the series every week as well as during hiatuses.
I co-host the podcast with my great friend as well as co-producer Amy Marie Hypnarowski who have been part of the project since the middle of the first season before she joined full-time, now along also with Brittany Rivera and Andrew Dice, two amazing nerdy friends of ours. The team also consists of regular contributors with Adam Holmes (recurring host/writer), Mike Schmidt (composer who scored the theme song for this podcast and several other shows in DC TV Podcasts), Tatiana Hullender (comic book reviewer) and graphic artists David Jones and Mike Halpin.
